Reglas y Regulaciones en casa
El primer grupo de preguntas dentro del tema de reglas y regulaciones en casa incluye preguntas sobre las tareas del hogar, tu rutina y la importancia de tener reglas en casa y seguirlas.
Primero, vamos a ver un texto con el vocabulario relacionado con el tema.
VOCABULARY

Aquí tenéis una lista de palabras que te ayudarán a responder las preguntas sobre este tema. Observa también cómo se usan en contexto para darte una idea de cómo podrías utilizarlas tú.
1. Rules – reglas
In my house, we have certain rules that everyone needs to follow to keep things organized.
2. To tidy up – ordenar / recover
Every weekend, we have to tidy up our rooms and the living room to keep the house clean.
3. Punishment – castigo
If I don’t do my chores, my punishment is usually losing my screen time for the day.
4. Privileges – privilegios
One of the privileges I might lose if I don’t follow the rules is going out with my friends on the weekend.
5. Well-behaved – bien educado
My parents expect me to be well-behaved and polite to everyone who visits our home.
6. Badly-behaved – mal educado
If my younger brother is badly-behaved during dinner, he has to leave the table and sit quietly until he calms down.
7. To follow the rules – seguir las reglas
We have to follow the rules at home, like doing our chores and being polite to each other.
8. To respect the rules – respectar las reglas
My parents always remind me to respect the rules and think about others in the family.
9. Permission – permiso
I need to ask for permission if I want to stay out late or invite friends over.
10. Polite – educado
Being polite is very important in my family; we always say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’.
11. Fair – justo
I think it’s fair that I have to do some chores because my parents work hard too.
12. Responsible – responsable
Doing chores helps me learn how to be responsible and take care of my things.
13. Good / bad manners – buenas / malas modales
My parents say it’s important to show good manners at the table, like not talking with food in my mouth. Bad manners are not allowed.
14. To obey – obedecer
We are expected to obey the rules at home, like finishing our homework before watching TV.
15. Household chores – tareas del hogar
Some of my household chores include taking out the trash, setting the table, and vacuuming.
Las tareas del hogar son lo más común que puede aparecer en este tema, por lo que es importante conocer cuáles son. También merece la pena pensar de antemano en cuál es tu tarea del hogar favorita, cuál no te gusta nada, qué tareas sueles hacer en casa, cuáles solías hacer cuando eras niño/a y qué tareas te hacían hacer tus padres antes.
